Beautiful jacket from Prada's SS 2013 collection that opened with a series of garments featuring silk patches of animated flowers, of which this jacket was look 3 on the runway.

For Prada’s Spring Summer 2013 show, Miuccia Prada wrote an ode to Japanese femininity. Using this inspiration as a through line for the collection, Prada then married the aesthetics of traditional, contemporary, and futuristic. In doing so, traditional influences of the geisha were paired with harajuku style accessories, bringing together modern Japanese womenswear with that of history.

The jacket has a square, straight shape with shorter sleeves and a round neck.

She closes with a row of invisible snap buttons.

Size label read 40 IT, but fits S to M

Measurements: shoulders 38cm, sleeve 41cm, length 55cm, chest 48cm

Material: 50% cotton, 50% wool, with silk patches.

Condition: very good, just some slight pilling on the below of the left sleeve.
