Don’t we all love a reversible piece?

Is it perhaps the magic and ingenuity of instant transformation that attracts us or is it simply because we have the feeling of buying two pieces of clothing for the price of one?

Whatever the reason may be, reversible pieces have something wonderful about them! 

As is the case with this fantastic Issey Miyake Plantation 90’s reversible jacket: wooly, greyish brown and soft on the one side, sporty, chocolate & nylon on the other. 

On a day like today, while I’m writing this short item description, where clouds are gathering and rain seems imminent, I image being out on the streets, wearing this jacket, woollen side out, until I feel the first drops of rain falling down from the sky. 

How lucky I imagine myself to be, realising I can turn my jacket inside out, on the spot, and transform it in a rain jacket, with the now woolly inside keeping me nice and warm and the outer shell protecting me from the weeping sky!

The jacket has a simple straight forward cut with two (actually 4) large bottom pockets and closes with a single row of brown buttons.
